The best companies in Estonia in 2022 have been chosen!
On 13 October, the winners of the “Entrepreneurship Award 2022” and the “Competitiveness Ranking 2022” competitions were announced at a gala awards ceremony at the brand-new Tallinn Music and Ballet School. Company of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and Entrepreneurship Promoters were announced.
The Family Business of the Year category aims to recognize businesses that have made a sustainable contribution to the Estonian economy and social development and foster an entrepreneurial mindset among young people through family-centered management and governance.
The Family Business of the Year award was presented by Lauri Lugna, Chairman of the Board of the EAS and Kredex Joint Agency. Lauri Lugna, Chairman of the Board of the EAS-KREDEX Joint Managing Authority, described the Family Business of the Year award winner: “The Family Business of the Year has been operating for 20 years. They are strong exporters and important regional employers with a new focus on environmental sustainability. A family mother and father set up the company. As the business has grown, so have the family’s daughter and son, who have been instrumental in developing the business. Now the grandchildren are proud to talk about the products of their family business. There is life’s work in this business. The Family Business of the Year 2022 is Peetri Puit OÜ / ARCWOOD.“
According to Peeter Peedomaa, CEO of the company, the title of Family Business of the Year is undoubtedly a great honor and recognition. Peedomaa says it is not just a family of 4 people behind a family business.
