St John’s school
In the case of the school building, the architects have combined various materials. The structural elements of the school atrium are made of glued laminated timber beams and posts, and the cross-sections of the beams and the trusses are left exposed. The roof ceiling and dome of the church are also constructed using timber structures. The roof ceiling is made of CLT (cross-laminated timber), and the dome is designed using curved glued laminated timber beams.
