Nature House
Nature House is a new landmark of timber architecture planned for Tallinn’s seaside area and set to become the largest public timber building in Estonia. The complex has a planned gross floor area of 24,660 m² and consists of three buildings connected underground: the Dock House, the City House, and a museum building with a distinctive triangular form.
One of the key architectural elements is the monumental glulam arcade running through the Dock House, forming an atrium approximately 16,3 metres wide and 69,5 metres long.
ARCWOOD produced, delivered, and assembled 4300 m³ of CLT and 980 m³ of glulam for the project, forming a significant part of the structural framework and remaining largely visible throughout the interior.
The main user of the complex will be the Estonian Museum of Natural History, and several Tallinn-based agencies of the Ministry of Climate will also occupy the premises.
The project is currently under construction, with completion planned for 2026.
